Responsibilities
Audit supplier invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies, and enter information promptly to ensure discounts are received
Prepare and process daily cash and credit card deposits; maintain the cash journal and related spreadsheets
Research and resolve customer product returns while working directly with customers, vendors, and internal teams
Assist employees, suppliers, and customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services
Enter financial data into our systems following company procedures
Review and balance computer reports, interpreting results and making corrections as needed
Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities, including the annual audit
Provide backup support to other accounting team members when needed
Support special projects as assigned; perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Follow all quality processes and procedures established by Hartfiel Automation
Qualification
Required
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
Preferred
One year (or more) of accounting experience and/or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Familiarity with accounting software
Strong computer skills
Great communication
