Responsibilities

Collaborate with partner firms to guide Avalara solution design, configuration, and integration
Provide technical expertise and best practices for partner-led deployments
Support enablement and best practices for scalable, compliant global projects involving VAT, GST, and e-invoicing compliance
Deliver partner enablement, training, and solution walkthroughs
Collaborate internally to enhance partner tools, documentation, and delivery standards
Use AI tools to accelerate and improve accuracy and relevance of responses to partner inquiries

Required

5+ years of experience in indirect tax technology implementations with Oracle Cloud ERP and/or EBS
Hands-on experience integrating Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS with third-party tax engines (Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara)
Advise and help partner teams
Familiarity with APIs, XML, and cloud SaaS integration principles
Proficiency with business productivity AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to improve efficiency, analysis, and collaboration in implementation projects
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (advanced certifications)
