Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems that power Azure AI services in U.S. government clouds

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple services and layers of infrastructure

Collaborate with partner teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of AI capabilities

Support and enhance existing AI services by improving reliability, scalability, and maintainability

Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure high availability of services

Contribute to engineering best practices and advocate for operational excellence

Write clear, maintainable code and documentation to support long-term sustainability of systems

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience

Candidates must have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role

Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination

This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements

You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions
