Responsibilities

Prepares monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations and account analysis

Assists with month, quarter, and year-end close

Assists with bank account reconciliations

Reviews current Accounting Policies & Procedures

Assists in improving and establishing best practices

Assists in fixed assets management

Assists in internal and external audits

Identifies additional internal policies and processes to improve and maintain financial statements in line with generally accepted accounting principles

Assists Accounting Manager with fixed asset management

Assists with the implementation of software conversions

Provides variance and profitability analysis as directed by management
