Responsibilities

Operate bindery equipment such as cutter, three hole drills, automatic punch, laminator, coil and spiral binders, thermal binder, score/perf/fold equipment, Horizon collator and stitcher, shrink wrap tunnel, padding equipment, etc
Perform manual bindery functions as assigned
Write up delivery slips for finished jobs
Package finished jobs for delivery
Organize leftover materials for storage and disposition
Maintain light bindery equipment and general work area

Required

1 year operating light bindery equipment
1 year performing manual bindery operations
Knowledge of bindery equipment
Skills to operate and maintain bindery equipment
Ability to use a variety of different bindery equipment from different manufacturers
Knowledge of bindery principles, techniques and materials
Good mechanical skills
Good math and communication skills

Preferred

High school diploma or vocational degree in printing and graphic arts
Knowledge of various types of paper and printing techniques
2 years operating light bindery bindery equipment
2 years performing manual bindery operations
