Responsibilities
Perform varied administrative, technical and analytical duties including record management, operations and procedures, course scheduling processes, and budget preparation and control for the Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies and Sociology departments
Serve as the main resource for faculty, staff, students, departments, and community, in diverse and moderate complex matters of policy, procedure, and practice by providing information, historical background, and rationales
Use independent judgement to make decisions, interpret and apply policies and procedures, perform research when needed, prepare and analyze budgetary and other financial reports, provide support documentation, and provide general office assistance
Interact with all levels inside and outside the university, and may include dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development and improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs
Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Preferred
Three years of experience in office administration
Knowledge of Google Suite
Knowledge of Drupal
Knowledge of PeopleSoft
