Test Engineer – Transmission & Distribution Assets
EPRI is a leader in energy research and innovation, and they are seeking a Test Engineer for Transmission & Distribution Assets. The role involves collaborating with SMEs to design and implement testing procedures for various systems, ensuring reliability and performance through hands-on testing and analysis.

Responsibilities
Work with SMEs to identify applicable industry-standard tests or application-specific unique tests
Develop and document test plans and procedures for review and approval
Implement test plans, including system control and data acquisition
Identify anomalies during test execution and collaborate with SMEs to determine corrective actions or adjustments
Document and report test results clearly and accurately
Qualification
Required
Ability to collaborate with SMEs and lab staff to develop and execute test plans and setups
Willingness to learn about system control and data acquisition
Competence in data analysis and visualization
Strong documentation skills for test results and procedures
Willingness to support other job functions during peak workload periods
Ability to work as part of a team with SMEs as technical leads
Hands-on approach to building and executing test setups (with lab staff assistance)
Ability to travel as required
Highly motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience in electrical, mechanical, or environmental testing
Familiarity with system control and data acquisition
