Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day warehouse functions such as shipping and receiving in support of local operations
Provide system input for receiving of supplies delivered to local warehouse facilities
Reorder standard items, equipment, supplies and services
Issue parts and supplies in support of local operations. Review/create documentation such as requisitions, inventory lists and manifests
Maintain accurate inventory counts. Provide deliveries to vessels and terminal locations
Arrange transportation vendors with considerations of cost, quality and reliability as directed by Supply Chain Manager

Required

High school diploma or equivalent, with course work after high school and job-related training preferred
2 - 3 years' experience in warehousing, materials management, and/or procurement-related field
Safe working knowledge and practices and willingness to speak up to address and correct unsafe activities
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external business partners
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team
Ability to identify routine problems and review related information to help develop and evaluate options and implement solutions for efficiency and process improvement
Knowledge of warehouse operations, including expediting functions
Forklift certification either pre-employment or training/certification post-hire
Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles
