Responsibilities

Design and validate high‑power industrial lithium‑based battery chargers, including AC‑DC and DC‑DC converter topologies such as PFC, phase‑shifted full bridge, isolated stages, buck/boost systems, and related power architectures
Select MOSFETs, SiC/GaN devices, and magnetics based on performance, cost, and reliability requirements
Provide technical guidance to PCB layout teams to ensure optimal electrical, thermal, and EMI performance
Lead efficiency, thermal, EMI/EMC, and environmental validation testing to ensure reliability and compliance
Ensure charger designs meet UL standards, industrial safety requirements, and lithium battery safety considerations

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 7 years of experience in power electronics design with a focus on charger development
Proficiency with Altium and familiarity with power electronics simulation tools
Experience designing high‑efficiency (>20 kW) battery chargers
Strong knowledge of single‑phase and three‑phase charger design
Expertise in PFC, phase‑shifted full bridge, buck and boost topologies
Familiarity with lithium‑ion chemistry, charging algorithms, and safety considerations
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to safety
