Responsibilities

Manage full financial accounting for a portfolio of properties, including complex staffed and less complicated properties
Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, tenant statistics, and general ledger reconciliations
Perform REIT testing, cash distribution worksheets, and budget preparation; support year-end auditor inquiries
Handle tenant and internal client inquiries, maintain GAAP and tax reporting, and manage cash flow for properties
Oversee tenant billings for CAM, real estate tax, percentage rent, and water billbacks; review and train less experienced accountants

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or progress towards CPA
2+ years experience in accounting and real estate clients
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
