Responsibilities
Continuously works with department director to develop and maintain the Medical Equipment Management Database as required by JCAHO and regulatory agencies
Responsible for data entry of daily work orders, preventive maintenance records, initial inspection forms and other equipment information into the Medical Equipment Management Database as required by JCAHO and regulatory agencies
Distributes work orders to technicians
Provide customer feedback on the status of work orders
Provides clerical support for special projects
Performs general clerical duties, which includes organizing paperwork, filing, handling incoming and outgoing mail, typing, answering and forwarding telephone calls
Qualification
Required
1 year secretarial position in an office setting required
High School graduate required
Proficiency in typing, word processing, data entry and spreadsheets
Knowledge of PCs in a network environment
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office products
Familiarity with time sheets
Documented evidence of conscientiousness in the performance of responsibilities
Documented evidence of dependability, initiative, self-direction, time management and organizational skills
Ability to learn and prioritize numerous tasks
Documented evidence of adherence to high standards of ethical and professional behavior
Demonstrates strict adherence to confidentiality
Practices courtesy and diplomacy at all times
Functions well in stressful situations and demonstrates a positive and calm demeanor
