System Engineer

Responsibilities
Design hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical automation systems for customer applications
Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) hydraulic/electrical schematics and 3D layout models for engineered systems
Review customer specifications and ensure design compliance
Collaborate with sales team, fellow engineers, and directly with customers, both virtually and in person, to define and validate system requirements
Support system startup and commissioning at customer sites
Follow internal workflows to maintain quality and consistency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or 10+ years of relevant experience
Ability to obtain IFPS Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electronic Controls Specialist certifications: At least one certification within 1 year. All three certifications within 5 years
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Growth mindset with commitment to continuous learning
Senior candidates: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor others
Preferred
Hydraulic fluid power systems and components
Industrial automation and manufacturing environments
Machine control, PLC interface, sensors, and motion control products
General knowledge of business operations
