Responsibilities
Plan and execute electrical installations for new construction projects
Perform maintenance and repair of existing electrical systems
Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend solutions
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes and regulations
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Install, maintain, and test electrical systems and components, including conduit, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, ground systems and other electrical equipment
Conduct resistance testing and documentation of existing ground systems
Conduct power panel load testing and document results
Attend meetings with key stakeholders and provide updates focused on electrical job performance and needs
Mentor and supervise apprentice electricians, providing guidance and training as needed
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Prepare and submit daily work reports detailing completions, materials and delays
Accurate tracking of used and needed material supporting site needs
Qualification
Required
HS diploma or equivalent
Valid Journeyman Electrician License Required
Minimum of 4-5+ years of experience as Journeyman Electrician
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Security clearance level: Secret
US citizenship required
