The Cigna Group is dedicated to improving the health and vitality of those they serve. They are seeking a Software Engineering Senior Advisor to take ownership of data deidentification tools, manage BI tool reports, and support CI/CD pipeline automation.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of data deidentification tool (e.g. Delphix) customers' requests on different database/lake platforms (e.g. Teradata/databricks/snowflake/AWs s3)

Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and implement upgrades

Manage BI tool reports specific to the data warehouse/lake platforms, working closely with customers to ensure accurate data representation

Support CI/CD pipeline automation, ensuring smooth integration with the data deidentification tool and other warehouse database platform

Provide end-user support for the warehouse platform on the cloud, assisting application teams by testing and providing masked data

Work with database teams and ensure proper functioning of data operations across systems

Lead offshore team efforts to streamline processes, assigning tasks and improve system performance, and implement best practices for data security

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field and 5 years of IT experience

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field and 3 years of IT experience

Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines to test and deploy data architectures, codes, and artifacts from development to production in an automated fashion

Experience creating mappings, sessions, workflows to integrate data from multiple source systems into data marts & data warehouses

Experience with Teradata

Experience with Oracle

Experience designing and developing ETL solutions using SQL/SSIS

Experience implementing the audit and exception handling process for ETL jobs

Experience using Kafka for real-time data extraction and transfer

Experience customizing highly complex OBIA and OOTB informatica mappings

Experience delivering data products using Data Warehousing databases

Experience developing big data processing data pipelines to populate large scale data lakes

Experience with PYTHON and UNIX shell scripting to support ETL and data pipeline

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services) to develop and deliver data pipelines

Experience creating business intelligence reports for KPIs, business metrics, and operation with looker

Experience developing SQL scripts based on data conversion business mapping

Internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
