District Sales Manager - Midwest

Responsibilities
Prospecting new Accounts and Opportunities: Experience in food service; preferably disposables. Regional Accounts across all channels Corporate Distribution Defined End Users and Channels As needed Customers, Projects and Activities
Manage all Existing and New Customer Needs: Pricing: Managing all customer information related to Into Stock Pricing, Bids & Contracts, Competitive Awareness, Allowances, Marketing Promotions, Deviations, manage Profitability and Corporate Mandated Practices. Customer Sales Support: Sample Submission and Handling, Tradeshows, Customer Food Shows, Forecasting to WinCup Supply Chain, Identifying and Tracking Customer Sales Trends, Conversion understanding and support, Product Training, Sales Meeting participation, and Plant Tours. Creative Services Coordination: Artwork coordinating, Sketch Requests, Mock up coordination, Customer Approval Process. Customer Service Coordination: Problem Resolution, Quality Complaint submissions and follow ups, Logistical Issues. New Customer Onboarding: W9s, Customer Setup, Credit Limit approval, Cash Terms and general adherence to all WinCup Terms and Policies including but not limited to Unearned Discounts and Accounts Payable. Product Support: Marketing, Sampling, Point of Sale Material, Cross Reference Material
Internal WinCup Sales and Administrative Support: Sales Funnel Reporting: All WinCup BDMs are held accountable for submitting Sales Support Action Forms (SSAFs) for New, Change or Updated Customer Information regarding Product and Sales. The SSAF tool is an instrumental piece to assist WinCup in Capacity Analysis, Financial Analysis and Forecasting. Data Mining: All WinCup DMs should be trained, engaged and have a thorough understanding of the WinCup Database (WCDB). The WCDB is a tool used to extract Sales and Customer Data to better identify Trends, Gaps and Opportunities for Internal and External use. Business / Market Intelligence: All WinCup BDMs should be aware of whom their manufacturing and customer competitors are in their Districts along with what new, innovative and / or pricing landscapes are transpiring. This information should be regularly reported to their respective Director of Sales. Expenses Reports: It is the responsibility of the DMs to be good stewards in spending money that WinCup will reimburse. All special or large purchases should be approved by their respective Managers. Sales Related Paperwork: The WinCup DM is responsible for all related WinCup internal and external forms (not limited to but including): Bid/Contract Forms, Customer Quotes, Sales Marketing Rebate forms (SMRs), Vacation Requests and Weekly Sales Reporting requirements. Director Support: The WinCup DM will act in a support role for the assigned WinCup Director of Sales with the intent to operate as a backup and support capacity related to but not limited to: fellow District Manager assistance/support/leadership, product training, food/trade show and vacation coverage. The DM’s goal is always to build appropriate bench strength for future growth
Qualification
Required
Must have current / very recent account experience in foodservice
Preferably disposables calling on like segments such as; QSR, C Stores, etc
Experience in food service; preferably disposables
Ability to work in channels and outlets related to the WinCup sales strategy
Proven ability to effectively sell based on the WinCup sales strategy
Demonstrate an ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate with other District Managers, internal Support and the Director of Sales
Drive to improve skills, including but not limited to: Technical, Internal Systems / Databases, Customer Intelligence, Competitive Landscape
Reside in one of the following areas: Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Northern Missouri, Southern Illinois
