The Senior Mechanical Engineer, CFD will independently manage multiple projects, develop CFD models, and provide design recommendations to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate CFD models using AutoDesk CFD or other industry-standard software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, STAR-CCM+)
Perform CFD simulations for HVAC systems, cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities, and industrial processes to predict airflow, temperature distribution, and pressure drops
Interpret simulation results and provide actionable design recommendations to improve system performance and energy efficiency
Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate CFD findings into design documents and specifications
Prepare engineering studies, feasibility reports, and technical documentation for CFD analyses
Optimize designs through parametric studies and sensitivity analyses
Performs additional tasks or special projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
8+ years of experience in CFD analysis with strong Autodesk CFD expertise
Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit)
Understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year College or University

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license
