Real Estate Paralegal / Settlement Coordinator
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage residential and commercial real estate closings
Prepare and review settlement statements, deeds, affidavits, and all closing documents
Conduct title searches , clear title issues, and ensure accurate issuance of title insurance policies
Communicate with lenders, agents, attorneys, and clients to ensure smooth closings
Maintain accurate files and ensure timely disbursement of funds
Stay current on real estate laws, title standards, and compliance requirements
Work standard hours (8:30–5), with occasional flexibility to stay later to finalize a closing
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial closings
Strong understanding of title insurance, settlement document preparation, and closing processes
Law firm experience not required — title company or in-house real estate experience is acceptable
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
