Tech Support Manager [On-Site, Saint Paul, MN]
Responsibilities
Build, mentor and manage our Tech Support team
Work with the team to provide exceptional customer service
Create, track and apply performance metrics to guide improvements
Communicate with other department leads to coordinate strategic initiatives
Support customers by responding to tickets and/or phone calls
Learn how CrossOver and Wine work
Contribute to our knowledge base and user guides
Collaborate with your team, balancing workloads and sharing insights
Stay curious and keep learning, there’s always more to know
Qualification
Required
Management experience
Leadership stories that demonstrate your ability to guide and grow a team
Experience in tech support or a customer-facing technical role
Strong writing skills that are friendly, clear and technically sound
Comfort using macOS, Linux and troubleshooting from the command line
Willingness to ask questions and explore unfamiliar problems
Adaptability when priorities change and tasks stack up
A team mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and ask for help
A local address with the ability to work on-site in St. Paul
Preferred
Familiarity with Windows or Linux
Working knowledge of the command line
Passion for Free and Open-Source Software
