Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design and deployment of analytics workflows in Relativity aiR, including:

Creation and management of active learning projects

Model training, review queue optimization, and performance monitoring

Feedback incorporation and re-training iterations

Creation of and reporting on model efficacy (precision, recall, richness)

Execute unsupervised analytics including:

Email threading, near-duplicate detection, and conceptual clustering

Visualizations and dashboards to identify communication patterns or data anomalies

Support and configure Brainspace projects when applicable, including:

Index creation, custodial mapping, and concept searching

Communication analysis, cluster validation, and investigative workflows

Draft, test, and refine complex Boolean search logic for culling and responsive set development

Provide defensibility documentation for search term validation and analytics-driven workflows

Consult on hybrid review models (linear + TAR) and optimize batching strategies

Customize workflows to accommodate privilege review, issue coding, and second-level review

Act as a trusted advisor to clients and legal teams regarding optimal use of analytics

Translate legal review objectives into executable analytics strategies

Present workflow plans, reporting insights, and performance updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Identify opportunities to improve or scale workflows across similar matters or portfolios

Generate and interpret key analytics reports (e.g., model performance, review rates, precision/recall curves)

Assist with preparation of documentation to support defensibility in meet-and-confer discussions, depositions, or court proceedings

Work closely with review managers to align metrics reporting with client KPIs

Train internal teams, client staff, and review attorneys on the effective use of analytics tools

Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and playbooks related to analytics execution

Stay current with analytics product enhancements and industry best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree required; JD or advanced legal degree strongly preferred

Direct experience working in eDiscovery, with a strong emphasis on hands-on analytics execution

Expert proficiency in Relativity aiR required; experience with Brainspace a plus

Strong working knowledge of Technology-Assisted Review (TAR 1.0, TAR 2.0)

Strong working knowledge of CAL workflows

Strong working knowledge of search term analysis, validation, and QC techniques

Strong working knowledge of email threading and near-duplicate analysis

Familiarity with producing and interpreting validation reports (e.g., elusion testing)

Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

Proven ability to translate legal strategy into defensible technical workflows

Strong client-facing presence and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Preferred

Certification in Relativity (e.g., Relativity Certified Administrator, RelativityOne Review Pro, Relativity Analytics Specialist) a plus

Experience with alternative review platforms and tools (e.g., Disco, Everchron) a plus
