SI - Project Engineering Manager - OverPass

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing roadmap and strategy aligned with project goals and timelines
Define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing
Prioritize testing efforts based on business impact, risk assessment, and available resources
Guide a team of signal integrity engineers developing advanced OverPass systems
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of tester design, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Assign tasks, track progress, and provide regular feedback to team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work
Conduct performance reviews and provide career development opportunities for team members
Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle, minimizing rework and improving overall product quality
Monitor test execution, analyze test results, and drive resolution of open issues
Serve as a liaison between the testing team, development teams, product management, and other stakeholders
Facilitate regular meetings and status updates to ensure transparency and alignment across teams
Participate in product planning and design reviews, providing valuable insights on testing perspectives
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SI and other testing
Encourage innovation and experimentation within the testing team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical communication / electrical engineering/ computer science/ software engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in software and SI (signal integrity) testing, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing, acceptance testing)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and lead a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks
Experience with a defect tracking system
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
