Responsibilities
Processing permits for construction and applications for water, wastewater, and/or reclaim service
Assessing, collecting, depositing, and recording fees for service and permits
Assisting with compliance enforcement activities, including property ownership verification, lien processing, and preparation of Notice of Violation (NOV) documentation and cases for Special Magistrate hearings
Qualification
Required
Three (3) years of progressively responsible clerical or technical experience in utilities, building, zoning, construction, land use permitting, or a closely related field
Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment
In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed
