Responsibilities
Working with clients and insurance carriers to evaluate the best options for commercial lines of insurance on a case-by-case basis
Provide client support and knowledgeable guidance during the policy writing and renewal processes
Prepare and present policy/coverage options and information to clients
Prepare & deliver policy documents and certificates of coverage to relevant parties
Prepare & facilitate payment invoices and/or schedules at policy issuance, renewal, and during the policy period
Make policy recommendations based off of risk and coverage needs, and identify opportunities for writing and referring other lines of business
Follow documentation policies and procedures to ensure client records are maintained within the client management database
Seasonal flexibility for increased customer traffic; and
Address day-to-day client matters in a timely manner, including questions and issues surrounding claims, policy questions & change, audits, payments and rates
Qualification
Required
Current Insurance license
Previous sales experience
Positive, motivated attitude
Active Oregon resident P&C license
Previous experience with commercial sales and insurance
Familiarity with P&C carriers and commercial lines carriers and coverages
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to work independently and complete quotes and service work in a timely manner
Produce high quality, professional informational materials for clients, as needed
Ability to clearly explain the details and implications of coverages to clients
