Regional Distribution Sales Manager - West
HARTING Technology Group is a leading international supplier of industrial connectivity solutions, and they are seeking a Regional Distribution Manager for the West region. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through distribution partners and engaging with OEM customers, while also strengthening relationships at the distributor level and providing necessary training.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned regional distributor branches and support them in driving HARTING solutions to OEM customers
Proactively identify and develop new OEM business opportunities
Conduct joint sales calls with distribution partners to target OEM accounts, providing technical support, positioning HARTING solutions, and helping close new business
Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM stakeholders including engineering, purchasing, and decision-makers
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Distribution Manager, Account Managers, Product Management, etc.) to align on sales strategies, promotions, and growth initiatives
Deliver impactful product and solution training sessions to distributor sales teams, tailored to their markets and customer base
Support distributors on customer-facing calls and develop joint account strategies to uncover and convert new opportunities
Identify and resolve obstacles at the branch or customer level that hinder sales performance or customer engagement
Track and report on sales performance, opportunity pipeline, and partner activity using internal tools and regular business reviews
Represent HARTING at local distributor events, trade shows, and OEM customer visits
Share feedback from the field with internal stakeholders to inform strategy, product development, and support resources
Create and maintain tools, collateral, and sales aids to simplify the distributor sales process and improve OEM engagement
Maintain and execute on a target account list with clear goals and follow-up actions in coordination with sales leadership
May perform other duties as assigned

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
3 + years of B2B field sales experience
Ability to travel along the West Coast. Travel up to 50%
Preferred
A degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred
Experience selling to OEMs or within the electronics/components industry is a strong plus
Previous experience in channel or distribution sales is a plus, but not required
Prior knowledge and use of CRM, SAP preferred
