Responsibilities

Leads the planning, development, and implementation of evidence-based behavioral health treatment programs

Coordinates development, revision, and implementation of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required mental health services for incarcerated individuals

Provides clinical supervision to behavioral health staff

Monitors efforts of staff ensure behavioral health services are being provided in a timely, professional manner

Acts as point of contact for corrections administrative staff for discussion of treatment programs and problem resolution as needed

Provides utilization, process, and outcomes-based reports of behavioral health services to stakeholders on a regular basis

Provides consultation and training services to corrections and healthcare personnel and leadership as indicated

May assume direct patient care responsibilities when indicated

Inform behavioral health quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Additional duties as assigned by leadership

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required

Other duties as assigned by management
