Aircraft Maintenance Technician V

Responsibilities
Ensure comprehension of assigned task(s) before initiating maintenance. If necessary, communicate concerns or questions to the DOM
Ensure that manufacturer safety precautions are taken before initiating maintenance
Assist with the quoting, planning, scheduling and billing of maintenance related projects and/or modifications
Perform all maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, industry standards, and company policies/procedures
Perform all maintenance to the highest of quality standards, avoiding any act which may endanger personnel or cause damage to equipment and articles
Perform maintenance tasks, including but not limited to inspections, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, component changes, and preventative maintenance
Perform all maintenance using proper tools and equipment applicable to the task
Provide continuity of maintenance when work assignment changes occur
Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries and logbook entries
Notify the DOM immediately of any condition that arises which might represent a problem or unsafe condition
Communicate frequently with customers regarding updates and project timelines
Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a safe and orderly condition
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the maintenance facility
Actively participate in the company’s Continuous Improvement Program (CIP)
Ensure that unairworthy articles or work that is below company standards, is not released by ARQ Aviation MX
Ensure that work packages are continuously audited and updated
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Active and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics License, with current FAA Inspection Authorization
Minimum of 10 years of General Aviation experience
Must have thorough understanding of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, as well as inspection methods, techniques, and equipment used to determine the quality or airworthiness of articles undergoing maintenance, repair, or alteration
Proven track record of consistent performance while delivering high levels of customer service to internal and external customers, as required
Demonstrated record of sound ethical judgement and integrity
Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety in all maintenance
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to professionally communicate with customers
Possess adequate tools
Valid driver's license with good driving record
