They are seeking an English Language Learning Intern to assist the Adult Education Specialist with various program tasks, including classroom support and data entry.

Responsibilities
Attend ESOL and Cultural Orientation classes on designated days
Arrive a few minutes early to check in with teacher about the day’s classroom activities
Assist students with class assignments
Assist with set-up and tear-down during Cultural Orientation
Provide supervision when needed for young children when present
Help integrate digital literacy in the classroom
Other duties as assigned
Record hours and submit completed timesheet for each month via the IRC’s online Volunteer Dashboard
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree or recent graduate
Patient, reliable, and flexible
Preferred
Exposure to global environments and languages is a plus
While a personal vehicle is not required, it would be helpful on occasion
