Responsibilities
Generate 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies
Create and maintain engineering documentation
Perform basic analytical modeling to support design decisions
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, such as Elec Eng, Optomech, Systems, Physics, Mechatronics and SW teams
Procure components and materials for prototyping
Assemble and test your designs in a laboratory setting
Qualification
Required
At least 2-3 years completed in four year degree program
Ability to work onsite five days a week at our Milpitas, CA headquarters
Preferred
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mech/Elec/Sys Engineering or other related fields
Completed fundamental coursework in mechanical design and possess basic skills in CAD software
Familiarity with PTC Creo and Ansys (Mechanical or Fluent) is a strong plus
Exposure to vacuum systems, cleanroom protocols, or semiconductor equipment is a plus
