Quarterly Lecturer - Engineering Management (2025-2026)

Santa Clara University is seeking a dynamic quarterly lecturer for the 2025-2026 academic year to teach graduate-level Engineering Management courses. Responsibilities

Teach one or more graduate Engineering Management courses and participate in all related activities, including:
Prepare and conduct all assigned class meetings
Assign and evaluate/grade student work appropriately
Be available to students for consultation outside of class
Assign student grades appropriately and submit them on time to the Office of Student Records
Conduct course assessments as required by the department
Complete and submit time cards every two weeks
Comply with university and school policies, including those delineated in the School of Engineering Term Faculty Handbook

Required

Earned graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in engineering management or equivalent
At a minimum, candidates should hold a Master's degree with equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills
Solid commitment to innovative teaching methods
Ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity, equity, and inclusion goals of the University
Dedication to the well-being and advancement of students, colleagues, the School, and the discipline of engineering management
Ability to teach in the graduate program

Preferred

Demonstrated excellence in teaching engineering management concepts at the graduate level
