A Laboratory Technician works closely and with the advice of a Laboratory Technologist in the performance of diagnostic procedures

Procedures are performed as efficiently and expeditiously as possible

Laboratory Technicians may exercise limited independent judgment and work under the supervision of a Laboratory Technologist, Supervisor or Director

Qualification

Florida License TCAssociates Degree in MLSMedical Technician trainingLaboratory experienceEnglish proficiency

Required

Certificate training program at an approved school for Medical Technician level training leading to state licensure

Current Florida License TC - Laboratory Clinical Technician

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Preferred

Associates Degree in MLS
