As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing advanced customer terminal products, guiding hardware validation, and supporting factory teams to ensure product readiness and quality.

Responsibilities

Design high-speed digital and/or RF circuitry in collaboration with various teams
Design and optimization of different blocks of electronics sub-systems
Schematic capture and lead PCB layout
Design DC/DC power supply and Point of Load
Support flow-down requirement definitions and generate test plans/procedures
Board bring-up and perform test campaigns of modules and subsystems
Support design of automated test systems, test fixtures and factory test
Support the transition of the designs to mass production
Develop innovative customer terminal hardware architectures with partner teams
Schematic generation & review
Guide board layout through ok2fab
Support integrated product team as the EE hardware single threaded owner
Lead hardware validation for your designs & present to Director level leadership
Support factory team, help debug issues on the line, and burn down open tickets ahead of build readiness reviews
Support internal customers and participate in cross-functional troubleshooting campaigns

Required

Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
Experience in hardware lab equipment such as digital scopes, logic analyzers, and soldering tools
7+ years of experience in high-speed digital design and/or RF designs
Experience in signal and power integrity design and analysis
Experience with mixed signal PCB layout designs
Experience in using schematic capture tool and PCB layout viewer
Experience with board bring up and debugging in lab environment

Preferred

Master's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
Experience with analog or board simulation (ex: SPICE, HyperLynx)
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Familiarity with analog electronics fundamentals (transistors, op-amps, filters, etc)
Familiarity with DC power supply designs
Familiarity with EMI/EMC design mitigation
Experience with Mentor Graphics or Cadence layout tools
Proficiency in developing lab test programs for instrument control
