Responsibilities

Manage the Preconstruction process for clients, including:
Producing iterative budgets, coordinating project teams internally and externally
Providing guidance to owners and design teams during design development
Valuing engineering projects to meet client budgets
Coordinating work with our operations and project management personnel to keep them informed on the project status and to obtain scheduling and logistical planning input during preconstruction
Leading a group of estimators through the bid process (performing takeoffs, writing scopes, bid packages, and properly qualifying the scopes of work)

Required

5+ recent years within a preconstruction position, with an emphasis on ground up Multifamily or Mix Use design-build projects
Proven history of performing takeoffs, writing scopes, bid packages, and properly qualify scopes of work
Recent experience in presenting full budget to ownership and reviewing all estimates for accuracy
Qualifying subcontractors' capability
Leading large-scale or multi-family construction projects from concept through gross maximum price
Use of Bluebeam software; and reviewing costs and general information on preliminary estimates

Preferred
