Responsibilities

Management and supervision of product and system testing and related communications (internal and external)

Supply technical support for R&D, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Technical Services, 411 Help Desk and Third Party Purchasing

Mentors and coaches Product & System Certification & Testing Specialists and Staff Engineers on best practices. Imparts knowledge and shares experiences to support development of team members

Internal support of Residential and/or Commercial Testing & Certifications, R&D, and Quality Assurance, as required

Required

Engineering or Science Degree

Minimum 3 years product and system testing and certification experience with roofing products or equivalent experience in product performance testing

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively cross functionally

Advanced knowledge of GAF residential roofing products

Advanced knowledge of pertinent Building Codes

Advanced knowledge of ASTM, FBC, Miami Dade, UL, CRRC, CCMC, and ICC requirements

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and Google Suite

Advanced engineering concepts

Advanced project management skills

Advanced written and oral communication skills

Advanced analytical skills

Advanced organizational skills

Advanced ability to multitask and prioritize

Intermediate ability to manage and direct internal and external resources
