Responsibilities
Perform daily audits of all cost centers (i.e. Gaming, F&B, cage, mutuels, etc.)
Draft preliminary revenue journal entries in compliance with chart of accounts and GAAP
Create and distribute daily financial snapshots to leadership
Ensure compliance with property standard operating procedures and system of internal controls
Thoroughly investigate, research, and communicate all variances
Organize and store company financial support in accordance with regulatory requirements
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience with Microsoft Office
Must be detail-oriented, professional, and have strong organization and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
Preferred
Associate degree in accounting, finance administration, or a related field preferred
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in the accounting or revenue audit department
