They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Runtime Infrastructure - Logging team, responsible for delivering and maintaining onboard and offboard logging systems as part of advanced driver assist systems.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test onboard and offboard logging software
Design & develop high performance onboard systems that make efficient use of onboard resources
Design & develop economical, performant, scalable, and easy to use offboard logging data transformation systems
Architect systems that strike a balance between performance and usability requirements
Develop tools and metrics for providing insight into the performance of the systems
Participate in the development and implementation of software safety requirements
Understand, debug and solve for system level optimization and improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD)
Design, develop, and test onboard and offboard logging software
Design & develop high performance onboard systems that make efficient use of onboard resources
Design & develop economical, performant, scalable, and easy to use offboard logging data transformation systems
Architect systems that strike a balance between performance and usability requirements
Develop tools and metrics for providing insight into the performance of the systems
Participate in the development and implementation of software safety requirements
Understand, debug and solve for system level optimization and improvements
Preferred
Experience with performance optimization at the system level

API Development
Familiarity with ISO 26262 and/or other software safety standards
Familiarity with io_uring, DirectStorage or similar high performance storage APIs
Developing software targeting RDMA systems such as InfiniBand
Familiarity with a real time operating systems
Experience with developing massively scalable solutions that employ cloud based data storage systems efficiently
