Responsibilities
Design and Drafting: Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D)
Permitting and CEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus
Licensing: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification & Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Compliance: Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs
Technical Reports: Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making
Field Support: Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, and resolve on-site issues as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
0–3 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs

Preferred
Knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus
