Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) is a leading general contracting, design-build, and construction management firm. This internship position will be responsible for assisting various departments within CPPI and learning the overall elements of the general contracting/construction industry.

Responsibilities

The right candidate will assist the Construction Manager and Superintendents with the management of all functions of the job site as it relates to construction, including but not limited to to scheduling and supervising the job site

Help to ensure on-site safety as well as compliance with all company policies and procedures

Learn how to estimate costs, solicit bids, create schedules, etc

Explore other areas of interest to learn more about the general operations of the division, both within and outside of the assigned department, which will be supplemental to the learning experience

Provide basic administrative support, assist other supervisors as directed, and help with special projects as needed

Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Required

Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

Must have a valid driver's license

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction, or related

Must be proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Outlook

Must be able to work flexible hours. Work hours will be consistent with working in the Construction industry

Preferred

Prior construction-related internships or work experience is strongly preferred

The ideal candidate would have a strong desire to expand their base knowledge of commercial projects as well as to increase exposure to new areas of the business
