They are seeking a Florida Workers’ Compensation Legal Adjuster to manage lost-time and litigated claims in a fully remote, full-time contract role.

Responsibilities
Handle Florida Workers’ Compensation lost-time & litigated claims
Investigate claims and evaluate compensability & exposure
Apply Florida statute and case law to determine benefit eligibility
Set and maintain appropriate reserves
Coordinate medical treatment and return-to-work plans
Ensure timely state filings, EDI, and full compliance
Partner with attorneys on:
– Depositions
– Mediations
– Litigation strategy
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of Florida Lost-Time / Legal WC adjusting experience
Active Florida All Lines Adjuster License
Working knowledge of Florida WC law
Working knowledge of Benefit determination
Working knowledge of Presumption claims
Strong documentation, investigation, and compliance skills
Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based remote environment
