This role involves detailed analysis, reporting, and collaboration across various departments to enhance asset performance and strategic decision-making.
Real Estate
Responsibilities
Assist in development and review of annual budgets and business plans. (Essential)
Collaborate with Operations on occupancy trends and Revenue Management to monitor pricing strategies and revenue optimization. (Essential)
Coordinate with Utility Management on expense performance, conservation initiatives, and supporting infrastructure investment (capital expense) analysis. (Essential)
Support regular portfolio reviews, business updates, and cross-departmental reporting initiatives. (Essential)
Assist in building internal systems to capture, store, and manage key asset-level information, including financial, operational, and capital data. (Essential)
Consolidate and validate actuals, budgets, and forecasts for key performance indicators across assigned assets
Conduct monthly variance analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities to the broader Asset Management and Operations teams
Work closely with Marketing to track campaign performance and provide recommendations on local marketing strategies
Participate in ad hoc analyses and special projects as required by leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field (Required)
2 years in experience in asset management, real estate finance, or FP&A (Required)
Must have a valid driver's license
Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills; familiarity with reporting systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Yardi, or similar)
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Exposure to or interest in systems development and data organization tools (e.g., SharePoint, Airtable, CRM platforms)
