Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and manage a team of field service engineers across multiple locations or regions
Create and review departmental procedures (MOP)
Meet with GC and subcontractors, go through all plans and verify build from the owner’s perspective
Assist construction CM/PMs with specific hardware design and integration installs
Coordinate and schedule field activities, ensuring timely completion of installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance
Act as a technical escalation SME for complex construction issues and ensure effective resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Product Development, and Customer Support to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), service metrics, and customer feedback
Ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety in all field operations
Recruit, train, and develop field staff to maintain high technical competence and professional development
Conduct performance reviews as required by company policy
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the rollout of new technologies and systems in the field

Required

4+ years' experience in Superintendent or Journeyman level construction roles
Must demonstrate excellent verbal, interpersonal communication skills; ability to express ideas clearly, concisely and effectively with personnel associated with the data center environment
Ability to analyze and make suggestions for problem resolution; the ability to solve problems with good initiative and sound judgment and make decisions independently with minimal guidance
Must have an understanding of safety requirements related to the construction field
Must have a demonstrated ability to lead with confidence
Must be able to read blueprints and understand schematics related to data center support equipment
Must have excellent presentation and customer service skills
Willingness to train and mentor team members
Must have a valid state issued drivers license as you will be required to drive from site to site

Preferred

Hands-on knowledge of CAD modeling software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) a plus
Previous experience with ProCore and Project Management Software
