Responsibilities

Perform reserve reviews under the direction of the Head of Reserving - Casualty and prepare related reports, summaries, and ad-hoc analyses/views of results

Interact with various stakeholders including finance, claims, underwriting and pricing departments to determine holistic views of reserves

Assist in the preparation of the year-end reporting, including Actuarial Opinions, Actuarial Reports, and other GAAP and statutory regulatory reporting

Evaluate current approaches and propose improvements to all stages from data collection to final reporting, with the goal of automating and increasing the efficiency of the reserving department

Assist in the development and training of other Reserving staff
