Channel Business Development Manager
Vicor is the leader in high performance power modules, and they are seeking an experienced business development manager to join their channel organization. This role focuses on driving profitable revenue growth by managing relationships with distribution partners in the Aerospace and Defense and Industrial markets.

Responsibilities
Drive and motivate distribution to design in Vicor products
Forge strong relationships with Sales, Field Application Engineering, and Business Development teams with Vicor’s distribution partners
Lead training and of appropriate distributor teams and personnel
Proactively manage design opportunities from conception to production revenue
Forecast quarterly and annual account bookings and revenue
Anticipate and resolve customer issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
Achieve booking, revenue, and pipeline growth and conversion targets
Collaborate with Vicor’s corporate marketing team on account-based marketing campaigns
Provide guidance on new product concepts that accelerate growth and adoption of Vicor technology within targeted market segments
Provide guidance and feedback on content, collateral, and tools to enable Vicor’s channel partners
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales and business development in the power and/or semiconductor industry
BS EE and/or MBA desirable
Experience working with distribution
Knowledge of CRM systems, including Salesforce
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen ability to communicate an easily understandable strategy and vision
Strong presentation skills, including to large audiences in a training environment
Analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as the ability to work autonomously to achieve desired results
