They are seeking a Structural Intern to join their Building Engineering Services group, where the intern will assist in designing facilities-related structures across various markets and support a multidisciplinary design team throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities
This person will be responsible for the design of facilities related structures in support of a variety of markets including Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Health, Data Centers, and Federal
They will be expected to support, coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration
They will be responsible for supporting the development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, as well as the review of shop drawings during construction
Experience in structural design and construction is a plus
This individual should be self-motivated, collaborative and possess strong leadership skills with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound structural designs
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree program with a focus in structural engineering
Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of structural analysis/design
Demonstrated knowledge of Revit
Preference will be given to local candidates
