Confidential is seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive General Sales Manager to lead their dealership’s sales team. The role involves overseeing the sales pipeline, managing inventory, and driving revenue growth through innovative marketing and sales techniques while developing effective sales strategies to enhance market share.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and dealership sales goals
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and customer base
Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, including upselling and cross-selling high-end vehicles
Oversee inventory management and control to ensure optimal stock levels aligned with market demand
Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer relationships, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
Conduct B2B outreach through outbound sales efforts, cold calling, and networking to generate new business opportunities
Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills when engaging with customers and prospects
Organize public speaking events or presentations to promote dealership offerings and enhance brand visibility
Support the sales team with training on negotiation, retail math, inventory control, and effective marketing techniques
Monitor the sales pipeline regularly to forecast future performance and identify areas for growth

Required

Proven experience in automotive or retail sales management, preferably within a dealership environment

Proficiency with CRM software and familiarity with inventory management systems
Demonstrated success in outbound sales, cold calling, upselling, and customer service excellence
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience in marketing strategies relevant to automotive or retail sectors
Public speaking skills for promotional events or dealership presentations
Ability to analyze data from the sales pipeline for strategic decision-making
