Vice President, North American Sales (Experienced: Complex Solutions Sales)
Lucas Systems is seeking an experienced sales leader to develop and own a new logo acquisition strategy that aligns with overall revenue goals and delivers measurable results. The VP of NA Sales will play a critical role in shaping Lucas’ market presence and accelerating revenue growth by setting strategic direction for business development efforts and building a high-performance sales team.

Responsibilities
Design and lead the execution of a new logo acquisition strategy that accelerates pipeline development and achieves targeted net-new growth objectives
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex consultative selling processes for large, sophisticated accounts
Experience leading and achieving results with a multi-geographic GTM Plan working in concert across the organization orchestrating sales, solutions, engineering and support teams
Implement large account management disciplines along with strategic account and market planning
Build, lead, and inspire a team of business development professionals to achieve and exceed ambitious targets
Experience mentoring and coaching dispersed teams with proven results
Identify and prioritize verticals and best-fit opportunities for Lucas; develop go-to-market action plans, create deal win strategies
Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers at prospective and existing customers
Drive the full sales cycle for strategic accounts, from lead generation to contract negotiation and close
Partner with R&D, Engineering, Solution Consulting, Customer Success and Marketing to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional customer outcomes
Experience building partnership strategies that result in enhanced customer experience including identifying, cultivating and implementing partnership strategies
Represent Lucas at industry conferences, trade shows, and speaking opportunities to elevate brand visibility
Working with Marketing, create a customer advisory/insight panel to ensure ongoing positive customer experience and continuous feedback loop for product roadmap
Ensure accurate forecasting and provide regular updates
Demonstrated experience in forecasting pipeline and implementing pipeline discipline/accountability
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of delivering exceptional business development results with quantifiable success in expanding market share and driving scalable revenue growth within enterprise software or supply chain technology
Ability to articulate complex value propositions at the executive level with exceptional communication and presentation skills
Exhibit strategic thinking and situational fluency; adept at influencing internal and external stakeholders while building relationships at the executive level
Proficiency in brand expansion; ability to build brand awareness and preference among key executives to promote Lucas as a recognized authority and most trusted advisor in its space
Experience building and scaling high-performing teams
Proven reliability in forecasting and pipeline management
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
Ability and willingness to travel frequently
Must thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
