Territory Sales Manager, Lower Florida Keys

Responsibilities

Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies to help customers succeed
Your success will be measured by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business
You will do this through delivering impactful sales presentations and tailoring your sales approach to individual customers
Effective time and territory management is critical
Work collaboratively with our Specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening
You’ll also work closely with marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery
Develop new business by identifying prospective customers by utilizing market intelligence databases, as well as business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department; troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process (e.g., delivery mis picks, short on loads, stock-outs)
Know the market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided
Drive your personal motor vehicle to conduct regular check ins, site visits and follow ups to ensure customer satisfaction

Required

1+ year of sales experience preferred
HS Diploma or equivalent
A valid driver's license is required, and motor vehicle record must be in good standing
Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
A competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals
Problem solving ability / organization and negotiation skills
Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Have the ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Preferred

Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
Tech-savviness – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
