Responsibilities

Install, remove, repair, and maintain traffic control signs and pavement markings

Operate, maintain, and repair specialized equipment for street marking and signage placement

Enter records for signs and markings in a computer using an asset management system

Trim trees and shrubbery obstructing traffic control signs

Investigate and resolve citizen complaints regarding traffic signs

Setup barricades, cones and signing to control traffic for lane closures and various special events

Ability to work after hours, holidays or weekends as needed

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Up to 1 year related experience

Valid Class C Texas driver's license

Must be able to work at heights of up to 30 feet
