Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of the business requirements and applications and incorporate these as inputs to planning, requirements definition, and design process for new software products and features, with an eye toward testability

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure our applications are thoroughly tested

Perform functional, regression, usability, API, non-functional and post-release testing on various web and mobile applications

Write, enhance, execute, and document manual and automated test plans, test scripts, and test cases

Identify and document bugs, defects, and issues found during testing, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate, and documenting accordingly

Ensure that the root cause of the issues is addressed

Assures compliance for delivered wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes

Take an active role in establishing processes, guidelines, and best practices for testing

Create documentation on the implementation of the testing phases
