Responsibilities

Work across the organization to present and delivery high quality solutions quickly

Write high quality distributed system software for large scale applications, managing high TPS >10000/second

Work with product management and cross functional teams to provide technical solutions for desired user experiences

Work with other team members to architect and design approaches

Prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility

Take ownership of large components

Drive best practices and engineering excellence

Required

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience with AI/ML technologies

3+ years of software development with object oriented language, or 3+ years of software development with object oriented language experience

Experience in designing and developing large-scale services

Experience with web services, APIs, REST, SOAP, microservices, SOA, architecture

1+ year of creating software using AI tooling like Cursor, Kiro, Claude Code, etc

Preferred

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Experience working with Git or an equivalent distributed version control system

Experience with AWS Services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS

4+ years of integration, testing and automation experience

Experience with open-source technologies like Linux, Spring or React

Experience with designing and building application using AWS services such as Lambda, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Kubernetes

Experience in Kubernetes, Docker or containers ecosystem

Experience managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations

Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

Understanding and experience with professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Experience with application monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, etc.)
