Responsibilities

Communicate with insureds, carriers, adjusters, attorneys/counsel during life of a claim

Review and evaluate insurance policies to determine where coverage potentially exists

Evaluate and review legal documents, including, but not limited to, complaints, leases and contracts for the purpose of determining proper handling of claim as well as liability and/or insurable interest

Advocate 1st party property claims from initial report of claim to settlement on behalf of Hub clients

Organize and participate in claim reviews meetings and new business presentations

Maintain diary of files for follow-up and document all follow-ups within claim file

Interact with account service teams

Create and issue correspondence, including written advocacy on behalf of Hub clients

Track claim success stories

Contribute towards quarterly newsletters and articles based on claim scenarios

Demonstrate effective team management skills
