Mid, Senior LevelSidecar is a company focused on bringing ride-sharing to everyone, and they are seeking a full stack backend engineer to join their new Fraud Engineering team. The role involves tackling fraud by engineering next-generation solutions and collaborating with internal and external partners to define and isolate the problem space.

Responsibilities
Strong engineering background coupled with experience around machine learning, pattern recognition, etc
Code using primarily Python, Nodejs and PHP
Work closely with other engineers on the team and build on each other’s ideas
Participate in the design process and in code reviews
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
Be proud of your work - what you do has a direct impact on our customers’ experience
Qualification
Required
Expert knowledge developing and debugging in PHP/Python
Passion for finding problems with software and helping ensure they never happen again
Easily bored by monotony, would rather write a script to automate it
BS / MS in Computer Science or related field
Preferred
Experience in the fraud space is a plus, but not required
